Loropetalum Chinensis Rubrum

Loropetalum Chinensis Rubrum

Second in a series. Loropetalum is a common blooming landscape shrub in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This species has attractive maroon foliage and hot pink-red, strap-like foliage, from which it takes its Latin name. This is the second in a series that illustrates the way clusters of four petals unfold from the buds.
