Tung Oil Flower Afloat in Creek

Tung Oil Flower Afloat in Creek

Tung oil trees (Aleurites fordii) are an invasive species, and they're toxic. They were introduced for their oil, which woodworkers use in finishing. I like their blooms in spite of their bad characteristics. This male flower fell into a small creek in West Feliciana Parish where it stopped briefly against a pebble to have its picture taken.
