This plant's leaves close when touched, then reopen within a few minutes. It's a common weed in South Louisiana that is sometimes called sensor weed, sensor grass and sensitive grass. Not sure, but I think it's mimosa pudica or mimosa strigillosa. I photographed this one at Sherburne Wildlife Reserve in Louisiana. I can't identify the green beetle.
