Marsh Mallow and Bees

Marsh Mallow and Bees

The marsh mallow or swamp mallow (Hibiscus moscheutos) is a common flowering marsh plant here in South Louisiana that puts on quite a show during the summer, and the bees love it. These blooms were about 8 inches in diameter. Photographed at Sherburne NWR, Louisiana.
